Can you describe your role?  
 
As the onboarding team leader, I help and advise the onboarding team to deliver a supportive and informative enrolment to all our learners. Together with my team, we introduce learners to the online systems they will be using throughout their course and ensure that all the relevant information is on our system. I also assist my team with the delivery of onboardings to develop their skills and knowledge for each apprenticeship sector; this enables our learners to have a smooth and successful onboarding experience.  
  
How does your team support Woodspeen Training employers/learners?  
  
My team is one of the first points of contact for learners, and our role is essential to getting learners started on their desired apprenticeship. We support learners at the beginning of their journey, by introducing them to a basis of knowledge for what they can expect throughout their apprenticeship, and other relevant advice. We continue to support learners and employers up until they meet their tutors and ensure that they are aware of the next steps after enrolment. My team and I actively support the learners and answer all their questions about the course before their enrolment with the tutor.  
  
Why is onboarding learners so important?  

Onboarding learners provides them with a wide range of knowledge for their course and introduces learners to Woodspeen Training. We introduce the online systems the learners will be using throughout the course. Onboarding learners also gives them the opportunity to ask any questions about their course in a 1 to 1 environment.
