Woodspeen Training bolsters top team with raft of new appointments

Promotions support training provider’s growth plans

Woodspeen Training has started 2024 super charged with new appointments to its top team. 

Wendy Shepherd has joined the business as Operations Director. Wendy will be leading our learning delivery and quality teams. Wendy’s experience in growing skills delivery teams will enable Woodspeen Training to support more learners achieve their ambitions. 

Wendy said “I’ve joined Woodspeen Training at an exciting time. The team here are motivated to deliver the best experiences for learners which in turn means businesses gain well-trained, work ready staff.”

Kim Morrison has been promoted to Regional Growth Director. Kim will be concentrating on expanding Woodspeen Training’s presence in underrepresented areas across the country. By creating a robust presence in local areas, Woodspeen Training will be able to deliver on the ground customer service to our local customers. 

Kim said “Woodspeen Training has been sustainably growing over the past 5 years. This year will us continue that growth trajectory, supporting more businesses access new skills through apprenticeships and help learners start their career journey.”

Lisa Davies has been promoted to National Sales Director. With a strategic focus on the creation of sector specialist teams. These teams will concentrate on supporting businesses in specific sectors, ensuring they have in-depth knowledge to enable them to understand the challenges each sector faces and how Woodspeen Training can make a difference. 

Lisa said “Each sector is facing its own obstacles, by creating specialist teams we will be able to create market leading products and delivery methods that will really support our customers to access the skills they need to grow.”
