Case Study: Abeerah Khalid - Skills Bootcamp in Pharmacy

Abeerah began her Skills Bootcamp in Pharmacy in October 2024, completing the programme in December 2024. 

We spoke to her at her celebration event to find out how Abeerah had found out about the Skill Bootcamp in Pharmacy, what she’d enjoyed, and most importantly what she’s going to do with her new pharmacy knowledge. 

Woodspeen Training (WT): How did you find out about the Skills Bootcamp in Pharmacy?
Abeerah Khalid (AK): I found it through Indeed and then I applied through their application and I was followed up by Venetia.

WT: What have you enjoyed the most during the programme?
AK: I particularly liked more about the legislation that were related to pharmacy, and also about the practical things related to dispensing and more about the SOPs and the procreation [procedures], the things which are practically related to pharmacy. Because I personally have done a B.Tech before, so I knew more about pharmacy as I know now, after this course.

WT: What are your next steps going to be? 
AK: Right now I’m applying for interviews and for jobs, I’ve got I did an interview in the morning and I think I did well, and I hopefully will get into it, but if not, I’ll keep applying to the interviews and hopefully I’ll get into it and hopefully proceed into this career.
